Here is a large chunk from the 1982 Wembley concert (June 26). Including
the infamous version of She's So Cold (3.10-). Enjoy.

There will be a Carnaby LP limited edition. It appeared briefly on the official store (with a "forthcoming" picture) but it has disappeared now.
I guess the reason is ... those songs weren't finished and they wanted to finish them today and today there is no Taylor but Wood.Quote

Why is Wood putting overdubs on songs that were made when he wasn’t in the band and not Keith?

Songs like Travelin Man, Hillside Blues, Zipmouth Angel, Nellacote Instrumental, Red Blood Wine, would have been better choices

I saw four of the British stadium shows in 1982 and Wembley 25.6.82 was the best by a long way IMO, probably because it was a sort of homecoming after six years. I have listened to an audience recording of this show multiple times over the years and I am really excited by this surprising, if overpriced, release.

It looks like Come to the Ball is the only song we don’t know anything about.
If I had to guess, I could see it being an updated version of Dancing Girls/Brown Leaves with brand new vocals. The whole “dancing” theme in parts of the lyrics could line up thematically to the title. It kind of like how the Stones took the “all the rage” line from the You Should Have Seen Her Ass book and expanded on that for All the Rage for the GHS re-release.
I don’t know, maybe it’s a reach?
Interesting, I can't hear "come to the ball" in "Dancing Girls" but then it's hard to understand much of what MJ sings. I must have spent hours listening to the first version that surfaced on "Lonely at the Top" and that was incorrectly titled "Linda Lu".
I see the GHS version is supposed to be on "The Real Alternate Album - Goats Head Soup " [www.dbboots.com] - I seem to have missed that one although I wouldn't be surprised if it was the slow instrumental version that first appeared on "Could You Walk On The Water"...
