So not the same concert From the Vault release Tokyo Dome?

No, that was 26-Feb-1990 - [en.Wikipedia.org] , [TimeIsOnOurSide.com] , [NZentgraf.de] - (2015).

From The Vault Extra - Live in Japan - Tokyo Dome is 24-Feb-1990 - [www.Discogs.com] .

But the Setlists are identical.
The main problem with Tokyo 24.02.1990 is that the video was not restored. So you are getting, basically, very good to excellent VHS version. It is better than known bootleg though, but not HD quality.

I am surprised we did not get an At The Max disc on this set.

Maybe they will reissue that with extras like the full concerts from the shows.

I was at all the Atlantic City shows in 1989 and think the final show was the best of them. I remember they had garlands around the microphone stands and such.

There are 2 full length Steel Wheel rehearsal videos on YouTube that include Shattered and One Hit To The Body in addition to all the other songs on the tour setlists.

I have a rebroadcast of this with commercials for a show in Russia that never happened.

Anyone else familiar with this? You had to get 3-D glasses to watch parts of it.

I know I have glasses someplace for a 3-D show.

Isn't that the Urban Jungle tour? Spain?

There were two releases from Tokyo 1990. The 24th is a great show! HOT!

When Atlantic City '89 was rebroadcasted on VH1 the mix by Bob Clearmountain was great! Bob was in the credits at the end.

Is there a bootleg documenting this rebroadcast? It seems to me the infamous TSP bootleg is far from a great mix (loud crowd noise).

EDIT: after a search in the forum, here's a lot of answers to my question.

The answer is NO, the VH1 Rebroadcast and the Fox 3-D were never bootlegged.

I remember the Russia show commercial and the show never happened on that tour.

I agree it sucks when the show is shortened and bonus tracks released in Japan only (E.G.) are from the show. However, sometimes they release the whole show and add bonus tracks from the same tour but songs not played in the show. E.G. San Jose 1999 from the 19th with bonus tracks from the 20th that were not played on the 19th. Moonlight Mile, Gimme Shelter, etc.

The February 24th show which is a very hot show has been released before by Ward Records. The previous release had the very cool tiger cover and was available with the CDs from the 24th.

I always like to get the official CDs as they always sound better than a DVD rip. The new offering of the February 24th Tokyo show does not have an option to get the CDs or the very cool tiger cover. The good news is that this (24th CD + DVD) limited edition package is still available from Ward Records.

Less sleek mix. More Bill and Keith, less Matt. But this could be as well a result of brickwall mastering. The well known one 26.02.1990 From The Vault has DR10, while 24.04.1990 From The Vault Extra barely DR6 (with some tracks at DR5).
I do not think it is worth to shell off some 90 Euros for this set. Audio rip from DVD will be sufficient.

Agree. Still cheaper to order the vinyl and big box from Bull Moose.

I saw the shipping charge was high. I added some other things to my cart and the shipping price did not go up. Thanks

It's nice that we get some extras with this Atlantic City Live release. I certainly welcome Atlantic City '89 in a better mix and sound. New bonus tracks - AWESOME!

The only thing I was hoping for were the three tracks that were recorded in 3-D! These three tracks were broadcasted during the FOX 3-D special “Terrifying.” The Fox TV 3-D special had an edited song selection and included “It’s Only Rock and Roll,” “Paint It Black” and “2000 Light Years From Home” shot during a Tokyo 1990 rehearsal/filming.
