Yeah I feel the same, but considering Mick's not a comedian (or an actor), it was fun.
And nice to see him out of the rock and roll element...as downagain mentioned on the previous page "First time Mick has touched a hammer since 1961"...ha.

It's a play on Pathe news (from before the seventies) - they used to play a topical film/public information film before the movies.........[www.youtube.com] .......Mick et al would have seen hundreds of these in 'the flicks' at the Saturday morning matinee in the 40's/50's........

I've been subscribed to that youtube channel since they started it about ten years ago, and there's loads of great old videos on there.
Most of those "antiquated" public info films are actually unintentionally funnier than the new Jagger spoof, but again it was fun to see Mick out of his element and having a good time.

By the way, there's also separate British Pathe War Archives, Vintage Fashions, and Sporting History channels on youtube w/the War Archives being one my favorites . > War Archives

I was surprised to see the smoking parts as well but I guess he is like Bill Clinton and doesn't inhale.

Especially after having a heart procedure. It made me wonder if it was a 'put on' but then, who's buying him cig's during a pandemic? That part was a bit odd.

Funny. I must have sat through hundreds of those Pathe documentaries in the 60s and he has the style down perfectly. The cat doesn't look impressed though.

He definitely does! I've watched it numerous times and it hasn't failed to make me laugh yet.

When I watched the video the first time I cracked up. I guess we are not use to seeing Mick act in this manner. It is certainly much different than his acting in the movies I have seen him in.

Mick does not smoke. I haven't seen Mick smoking in decades. It is just for the (vintage) camera shoot.

My guess is he's smoking one of those herbal cigarettes they use in movies and TV shows.

Seems clear to me he didn't inhale, and it was just a quick puff...
While there is some risk even with that, probably didn't put too much thought in to it and went for it.

I've said this before; they are turning into the "Marx Brothers" of Rock & Roll

Looked like a life long smoker inhale if you ask me. No one did, of course. But it does make me wonder, wonder how he keeps up with his activity on stage if he smokes. Its not easy when you are XX years old.
