So that would be these tracks:

Rock And A Hard Place (Live At Soldier Field, Chicago / 1997
Under My Thumb (Live At Soldier Field, Chicago / 1997
All About You (Live At Soldier Field, Chicago / 1997
Let It Bleed (Live At Soldier Field, Chicago / 1997

Add the japanese bonus track "Little Queenie" from Soldier Field to the list.

I hope so, but they only did that last week, because otherwise it only were three songs. All the other weeks before we did not get the Japanese bonus stuff too.

Why is it called "Extra Licks" It has nothing to do with the Licks Tour, Which was great. Sunrise, Fl

That music is from the B2B Tour , which also was great--- This title should have taken more thought.

Havanna and Fonda didn't have japanese extra tracks but the 3 japanese Ole tracks were missing

Yes, you're exactly right, that's what I basically meant.

>Why is it called "Extra Licks"

ever see that logo, you know, the one of the tongue. Its been around for a while. That's probably where "licks" comes from, not from the name of a specific tour, which, coincidentally, probably was also named in a similar manner.

My questions have more to do with the "extra" part.

Is Charlie playing with hot rods during Let it Bleed? Is that normal? Hadn’t noticed it before.

Ronnie’s IEM on the b stage is hilarious.

Little Queenie is good. As it most always is. I even like Chuck's keyboard on it. I can't hear Ronnie though. He moves the strings but no sound is coming out. A fake guitar perhaps?
Otherwise: Rock and a Hard Place never really worked, did it? Under My Thumb is very tentative. Keith's solo on it is horrible. And you can hear that Mick's voice has gone down an octave or two.
I think 1997 was the year when the nasality started creeping in. I missed Keith's solo song downer for a pee break. I hope I didn't miss anything?

Drum nerd alert!: Charlie's, Billy Gladsone snare sounds absolutely lovely.

HA HA HA HA! Love that! That face he makes!

Clearly they were not well rehearsed for Under My Thumb. It really makes the 1981-82 version sound even better. I like how they did it closer to the LP version but it's a bit... Bud-Lite.

Under My Thumb has never sounded good live. It's not an electric song to begin. It's marimbas, and a swishy, jazzy bass and drums. It especially doesn't sound good by the slower, post Golden Era Stones.

I did enjoy Little Queenie though. I remember hearing it on the B Stage on the BTB tour. It was the highlight. (They might have interchanged it with Route 66). It sounded like the real Stones.

He looks even more disturbed on RAAHP and LIB. The vocals on the former is remarkably bad, and the band is unrehearsed. The second instrumental bridge never came smiling smiley Keith plays fast as lightning (Spanish style) on the first, though.

I love Under My Thumb with the rough guitar sound from '81/82.

Although Mick's singing is quite under par from the versions I've been able to find from the BRIDGES tour it's pretty cool that they did Crazy Mama for most of the shows in 1997.

Well, that pretty much confirms we're not getting anything from the Golden Era. All the Hits, driven into the ground.

Yeah, a fantastic opener! Some 1969 versions were also pretty good imo.

Better say a couple of shows... definitely not "most"!

Little Queenie was definitely a highlight on the BTB tour. I was disappointed that it was not included on the "No Security" live album.

I remember the Dusseldorf/Germany 1998 show where they had a crystal clear B-stage sound (which was not always the case, often muffled and echoes/delays), they did a fantastic "Queenie", followed by a then rare "Little Red Rooster" - and my thought was: "That's my Stones, that's the real Stones!". Back on the main stage, it was the Stones orchestra again...

"Route 66" replaced "Queenie" on the 1999 "No Security" leg.

15 shows they played Crazy Mama. They did 33 shows. So, yeah, you're right!

I didn't or hear see that in RAAHP or LIB but they do sound immensely ill prepared overall.

Ronnie's solo in RAAHP is non-existent. Keith just noodles for the most part in LIB. They had 3 days of rehearsals at Soldier Field plus the soundcheck of the first show - doesn't sound like it!
