Alan - truly selfless, unassuming and a true gentleman. He gently provided his incredible knowledge and passion for the Rolling Stones. He was a Glimmer archivist and librarian who shared unobtrusively. Huge respect to him - raise a glass to the green Pilgrim.

We never met, but did correspond a few times. His knowledge of The Rolling Stones, and the speed with which he many times was able to produce an incredibly appropriate newspaper cutting (etc) for us will be severely missed.
