Sad day for our community and of course his personal community. Respect and RIP. The Train. I always wondered about that train.

Oh how sad! I hope his family knows how much he was liked and respected by the Rolling Stones universe.

I will miss his posts.

Sad to hear. I got the impression he was mainly into the early years of the Stones. The sixties. Very astute, straight to the point. No meandering.
Always polite. At least that was my impression of him. Never knew him in private of course. Again, so sad to hear.

So sad to hear this, he was always a great contributor to this group. He will he missed, thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

God bless your soul, Alan, you were a giant figure in the Stones online community! Rest in peace!

RIP Deltics. A very well informed and excellent contributor. He leaves a void in this board for sure. He lived in the same county as me, just 25 miles up the road. Condolences to those around him in real life.

Sad to hear this RIP Alan....

This is very sad, at least he was well liked and well remembered by the Rolling Stones community here. Had he been ill and not posting or did this come as a complete shock? Haven't been here long enuff myself to have known the man.
