Deltics’ posts were always interesting and informative.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him but got the impression that he was a nice guy as others have already said.

Awful news. His contribution to the Stones fan community was immense. Seemed a very nice guy too. RIP Alan

Deltics was generous enough to post me some Stones gems, out of the blue, responding to a few random posts of mine.

I never really knew him, but felt I knew something of him.

I would like to express my deep sadness at today's announcement of the passing of my dear on line friend of many years Deltics aka Alan IORR on Facebook.
I never got to meet him and only in death do I know his proper name.
But I had many a pleasant few words with him over the decades.
He was to be relied on for facts and often told me off for the occasional misposted information, but for that very reason I loved him.
I thank him for pointing out a couple of rare tracks, the last I bought with his nod was the London Palladium EP .
Rest In Peace Alan you will be sadly missed.
