The real reason is not Brian, but the fact that most singles from the 70s on appear on great albums and many of them found the #1 spot.
LIAGT has, so far, no competition from an album ... and proves that the Stones are still very popular. Great!

Another email - this time from MERCHBAR saying my vinyl "order has shipped".
Along with the order of cd and 10" vinyl from RollingStones.com, I purchased a mystery vinyl from merch bar as seen here at bottom of page - Ghost Town
It shows no cover image, and has different price than the 10" orange and purple versions shown at the top of page, so wondering what it could be? Maybe a generic black 7" vinyl?

Well, well. well....I received the "mystery" vinyl single from MERCHBAR yesterday which I paid an extra $1.31 for during preorder...AND...drum roll please.....

They sent me the standard orange vinyl!
There's nothing mysterious about it!

I've been mislead and bamboozled!!! lol...

Funny that they show the orange and purple still in stock, while the "mystery" vinyl is now showing out of stock....
Anyhow, it's a beauty and I'm not gonna haggle over a measly $1.30 with them...looking forward to receiving my second orange vinyl from RollingStones.com which I'll keep sealed, along with the purple vinyl.

I'm pretty sure it's because Stones fans choose the practical route .... they bought the album that includes the single, no need to by a song twice. Only those who want everything bought the single too.

I've just read way too many things about that "store" not delivering anywhere near on time yet alone ever for what seems to be a lot of people and for some much what does get delivered is such months late and bad quality. Like those ridiculous NFL NO FILTER shirts...

I haven't been buying much they have been flogging recently but I have purchased (and preordered) a number of things in the past. They always arrived with a quickness. I was actually impressed with the service. This was a few years back though, I think the last thing I ordered was the Confessin The Blues set on vinyl, and that was a preorder for a deluxe set.

Now though I see they have this vast array of expensive t shirts and stuff. I can see that stuff being cheaply made. I have a hard time believing they sell much of it at those prices, so maybe the problem is they attempt to gang together orders and then get them printed. You and we might be surprised how rinky dink the merchandising is behind the curtain, never really know what to expect.

Personally, I tend to only buy music or very music related items. I do believe I bought a tongue logo coffee cup one time, but mostly its just been music, vinyl mostly. If they had a tongue face mask right now I would probably be tempted though. Maybe a tongue logo with a mask on, on the mask. You heard it here first.

I have read some reports from people having to wait for their orders, or their orders getting screwed up, with endless confusion in trying to get it straight, that sort of stuff, too. Just never really happened to me I guess.

I don't consider my order of one each of the 10" singles as being late yet. I am mostly just being impatient and they do seem to have been delivered from other vendors. I figure they will show up this week...if not I might start to get worried.

I do want to spin the 10" though, as soon as it arrives.

Found today the end credit amended —- it shows “Osaka” now. All of the Japanese street scenes are from Osaka BTW.

The gigantic blowfish (00:31) is the iconic sign of “Zuboraya” restaurant that opened in 1920. Sadly they are now set to close down for good —- another victim of the pandemic.

Received Fedex notification that my order is scheduled for delivery today. Aside from this minor week long delay, I've never had a problem with anything I've ordered from RollingStones.com,
though I know they're notoriously sketchy based on all the complaints I've read here. I guess I've been lucky and don't want to curse any future orders, so will leave it at that.
Purple vinyl, orange vinyl, cd single, and t-shirt coming right up!

I think it's because these 3 albums are now available separately on Vinyl (which wasn't before, only in the Box-set or long out of print).

Extraordinary! A MASSIVE congratulations to the Rolling Stones on this marvellous achievement. Getting a number one hit at this point in their career is truly remarkable, and a testimony to their commitment and enthusiasm over an almost 60 year career.
