Years ago someone gave me cd with Rock and a Hard Place remixes and since then I have passed on remixes.

It was just awful.

I LIKE it.

I've always liked the Stones' remixes, even the most absurd dance/cub mixes, though generally not a fan of that particular genre by other artists.
I sometimes even like the weird Stones remixes better than the original mixes, though wouldn't go that far this one - the original is just too good.
Ultimately it's a nice addition to the lone original tune they've released in many years - can't get too picky and will take it - even a bizarre remix.
Listening now, and the vocal effect beginning at 3:07 is almost satanic...in a good way...or in a ghost way....everything is turning to ghost.

There is a radio edit I heard on SiriusXM which is similar to the original version but has a distinct ending rather than a fade.

I usually like most of the Rolling Stones remixes. But this one sounds too poppy.I hope they have a cool extended version which they have done so good in the past. I do love the original song!

Daniele Leoni’s PIANO version of this on Apple Music is far more enjoyable than The Stones remix. It’s lovely, and shows how the Stones’ original version of this song is such a beautiful melody under all the guitar and Stones “crunch”!
