That alternative video of 'Ghost Town' is excellent.
I like the original, but this one is better.
Mick will love it Keith will hate it.

Sure, it can only be done that way. Sorry if it's been mentioned before but what's the ratio from streams to "sales" ?
In The UK:
New releases will have a streaming to sales ratio of 100:1 (in the case of premium streams) or 600:1 (in the case of ad funded streams) applied.
[absolutelabelservices.com]
In The US:
The Hot 100 Singles have multiple weighted tiers of streaming plays, which take into account paid subscription streams (representing a full point value per play), ad-supported streams (representing a 2/3-point value per play) and programmed streams (representing a 1/2-point value per play).
Those values are then applied to the chart’s formula alongside all-genre radio airplay and digital song sales data.
On the main albums chart, the Billboard 200, you have paid subscription audio streams (equating 1,250 streams to 1 album unit) ad-supported audio streams (equating 3,750 streams to 1 album unit).
Just pre-ordered mine. The release date was said to be 26/6.Quote

I have absolutely no need for a remix of any sort. I just want the song (physical copy please).

Wow I like the new video.... great way of mixing shots of the band.
I particularly like how the song lifts into the chorus

The video with the Stones live and GIMME SHELTER footage is awesome - the syncing to make it look like Mick is singing etc is done way better than anything the Stones have ever done.
The Stones tried something similar in the video of "No Spare Parts". probably not working as well as the guy has done here. But that said, that of using old footage to go with a 'new' song, I think the Stones did a marvellous job in "Plundered My Soul". I think the way they chose the scenes and edited it gives such a great impression and feel of EXILE-era Stones, like the song does.

I am working on a separate editorial IORR page dedicated to all the details of the new single and video of "Living In A Ghost Town". One of the things I have been working on, is to locate where all the parts of the video is filmed.
The locations of the video should be these:
Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Oslo, Cape Town, Margate and Osaka
The Oslo bits are very short, filmed very early Sunday morning, including this one:
0:59 - 1:01 Prinsens gate, Oslo, Norway (as seen from the Oslo S side)
The Oslo video bits were made by Kristian Engelsen, age 30, he is too young to know a lot about The Rolling Stones, but for sure he was very happy when his was contacted by a collegue in New York, then later the producer Fred Bonham Carter. There are bits from Prinsens gate, the Barcode area and the Oslo underground.
Then thanks to a post by bengigan I have this:
Lots of cool shots of my small town, Toronto
0:13 Spadina & Queen
0:39 Yonge & Dundas and then into Dundas station before cutting to Piccadilly Circus
2:20 and a few other times you see the CN Tower
2:32 driving on the Gardener and Lakeshore Blvd
3:20 Bathurst street down by Front all the way up to King Street
3:43 Blue Jay walk area, between Ripley's, CN Tower and Rogers Centre
Some bits fly by in a split second, but I have noted a few more bits:
0:48 - 0:51 Picadilly Circus, London, UK
1:32 Dundas St Toronto
2:54 CN Tower and Rogers Centre area Toronto?
There are quite a lot from London, streets, underground, double-decker etc.
There are still many places I can't recognize, like:
Where are the yellow stairs from (at 1:35 - 1:42)?
Tree at 2:37 and on?
Large glasses on the beach?
Comments and details are welcome. If you have info please post here or send me an e-mail to iorr@arena.no - Thanks!

this is a reworking on that TELL THE TRUTH song Mick dropped last year, right? it sounds the same... "Really gonna Tell the Truth" and "Living in a Ghost Town" is the same... but it's slowed down, and sounds like The Specials tune, as pointed out by many...
