More than "Sweet Neo Con" it's closer to the great unreleased "Ivy League", the instrumental version heard on "Voodoo Brew".

Fantastic. I like it the more I listen to it. It has a good groove. I like the changes where it gets more intense, and then the part where it slows down a lot to that sparse reggae. And I suspected that it would have a big hook, and it did!

While there is clearly a slight nod to some reggae vibe during that particular section, I'd like to hear a full on true dub version of the entire song turned inside out and dissected down to all of it's most basic elements.
With a drum beat here, a stabbing guitar lick there, add an echoed out vocal swooping in and out...I've always wanted to hear a pure dub version of Heaven also as it would easily lend itself to that, as would this.
Ordered the 10" vinyl single already, and it's a shame they couldn't have added a dub to the b-side - or even a remix of any kind....or anything at all come to think of it.
Oh well - love the Stones, and based on first impressions loving the new tune.......for the time being anyways.

Not a big fan of the mix (drum, bass too prominent, guitars hidden), but cool song and very fitting now - also using the little buzz from that recent corona live event.

Just came up on my phone lol, I got to wait 60 minutes, what a lovely surprise from the boys, had a feeling they would do something during the lockdown, pleased most of you guys like it.

Just heard it on the radio. Was shocked to hear the DJ say “and here’s the new one from The Rolling Stones”

I’m also happy to see the Stones are being spoken about in reverential terms from the average person these days. Seems like the whole Rolling Stones are old thing got tired and everyone is on the living legends bandwagon.

Pretty good song after one listen.

Good song...but morbidly depressing..wish the tone had been uplifting. We really could have used that. I don't even want to hear it a 2nd time. Maybe later when this is over and we feel safe and we can look back...

Yup, that's what I did too!

Have listened a few times now on Spotify and youtube....
Lyrically...maybe leaves a bit to be desired. The vocals are pretty good, but do I detect some autotune? Nothing wrong with that, but...I love Mick's wailing harmonica part.
Musically, I'm digging the grooves...nice guitars-Stonesy vibe throughout...and Charlie keeping it real...my head keeps involuntarily nodding to the groove and the beat which is a good sign...

Love it! From the "dub guitars", through the beautiful bridge and throughout.

Drums and bass are phenomenal. My daughter told me the auto tune was "so 2009", though, but I can live with that
