Not a new mix, but very likely this is the show from July 11th, from the DVD and previously released as soundtrack CD in the Japan only superdeluxe box with catalog number WRDZZ-163. Look at the tracklist and see it starts with "introduction", like the DVD and the soundtrack CD from the box. The new UMJ release with catalog number UICY-79174 is the same show from July 13th on CD, like in the worlwide releases from 2014, the one with catalog number UICY-79176 is the show from July 11th, for the first time on standalone CD.

I hope you're right, but on Amazon it says:

LA Forum-Live In 1975-7/13 New Mix Version (Paper Jacket)

but where do you see the catalog number UICY-79176, can't find it anywhere.

Take a look at [www.cdjapan.co.jp]
I am confident it is the DVD on CD, like in the box, We have to wait and see of course.

The Amazon tracklist mentions the band introduction BEFORE IORR as on the 7/13 show.
The 7/11 show has the band introduction AFTER IORR...
So it looks like it's only a new release of the existing CD as for Hampton 81.

No, there are two new L.A. releases, not one.
snarf and Irix are right.

You are right, unfortunately I did not notice that. Let's wait and see.

Indeed but both have the band intro before IORR...

They're not called "From the vault" anymore, are they? And it isn't really that long since Bridges To Buenos Aires.

I tend to agree with your first point. It looks like releases of gigs from the past are now being done without the "Vaults" banner, but I don't think we should be disappointed at all. For example, who's upset that Atlantic City '89 will be released under its own name without it being in the Vaults series? Not me!

Yes... I hadn't notice that before.
On the other hand... why would they release two versions, one with a different new mix(?), of the same concert, which was already released a couple of years ago? That would be crazy, right? We already have this one with a dvd, or blu ray, who's gonna buy this... twice again?

Wow, I've looked right through everything in this string. There's a whole lot of digression, argument, speculation about what's next, and wishes for what's next.

Are there any comments about the subject of the string, which, BTW, is "What happened to the Vault series?" ? Precious little, if anything at all, so I'll simply repeat that the Vault banner appears to have ended, and we're simply getting good ol' fashioned gig releases from the past. Not complaining about that at all.

I find it a litle strange that so many on this site often express more enthusiasm for live recordings from the Vegas area than from the bands heydays. Take for instance Hyde Park '69 witch have the first ever version of Midnight Rambler. I would love to hear it in its entirety. Then you have Altamont..! One can hear a huge difference just from one year to another on their tours from '69 to '82, and to me thats very interesting. Not just because the band was creative and on top of the rock-scene, but also because they were developing as a band. There are so many treasures that we still haven't heard! Where is the interest for the Stones history?
yup, what happened was they put out too many vegas era shows that hardcore old-school fans arent going to buy, so sales dropped off.
