Creem was my rock n roll bible during the 70s. I saved every issue that even mentioned the Stones. Thinking back, it was a fun mag to read.

He was always like that, just so cool and above it all.
He said how things were without coming off as someone with an axe to grind.
It was a tough pill to swallow seeing him lowering himself to playing music critic about some heavy metal act or current pop star, making up silly stories and carrying on endlessly about Mick.
I hope now that he’s off the booze we’ll see this guy again, I really missed him.
