Just one. They're so expensive.

Couldn’t agree more.

I’ve seen them 4 times since 2013 - and that’s enough. It’s shameful to think how many bands I could have seen for that amount of money.

Believe me, the gigs were great and I wouldn’t change anything... but this really is a band for the upper class and mega rich. I can’t relate.

62 times since 1981, and was hoping to make it to the "big 63" this year as that is the year I was born.
Might be able to hit that milestone next year, or hopefully some time in the future, but if not 62 has a nice ring to it and it's the year they were established.

wow ... I'm sure we'll see each other for the career 60's ... they also want it after all ... first we have to defeat the covid ...

60 and Counting Tour....and maybe a new album by then....thumbs up

If they can't reschedule this year or next due to the coronavirus crisis, hopefully things will be better by 2022 and they'll at least be able to play a landmark show for their big 60th anniversary.
Even if things aren't better by then (God forbid), they could do a show with no one in attendance! They could do a LIVE telecast/livestream from anywhere, and fans around the world would be able to "attend" virtually!

My wife keeps reminding me though. She has tried to calculate how much has been spent over the years and thinks we could have bought a small country by now. She is, to say the least, gobsmacked! lol smileys with beer

>So u went to the show where Keith was electrocuted huh? Are u from Sactown?

yeah went to that one, missed the first show in 64 but caught them in 65 and 66. My friend who was working the show in 65 claims some inside info on it but I never really believed him. I am not from sacto actually but moved here in 65 when I was 14 and have more or less been here ever since though I spent a few years overseas in the meanwhile.

About the noise and excitement, I really cannot remember much from the shows I went to, they were chaos and especially the one where keith got laid out, I don't even remember specifics about that other than the curtain came down all of a sudden and the show was over. Didn't even really know what happened until the next day when it was in the newspaper. All I remember in general was that I was very excited to be there and really blown away by it all but I was young and it was excitement for such a little town. I remember the James brown show my friend Pete and I went to a couple weeks later better, we were practically the only white people in attendance and it was kind of intimidating with all these hard core black people around with their conks and gangster leans and shit. But was blown away by JB and there were no bad vibes just a very exciting evening for a 15 year old kid.
