I always love, love it, when I see hardcore alternative bands show the love. And e.g. in that very Melvin's clip (it's the "What's in your bag" clip right?) when each member unveils their particular Stones purchase they show some vintage Stones footage, and it's all stuff you can be proud of as a Stoner.

Agreed. I love that there's really no one that doesn't adore the Stones and has no problem talking about it. Like with the Beatles, its almost cliche to say how much you like them, or for "hardcore" bands to really talk about them. But the Stones touch on every genre and any performer, from mainstream to underground, has a favorite song and a different appreciation. So cool.
