Keith once said in an interview that the riffs on CYHTM and Time Waits For No One were his. Also , who is singing the chorus at the outro of CYHTM with the deep voice.

I'd say that is Jagger. The deep voice.

Definitely Sway (outro solo). Should have gone on for a minute or two longer though.

Seems as if I once heard an outtake where it did go one for 5-10 minutes...awesome solo, BTW.

Usually the Stones do the ultimate version of their own tunes. No one betters them. On "Winter" MT played it a lot with Carla Olson. While the sung verses are what they are; on key, correct lyrics etc, it isn't until MT starts ripping for 8-9 minutes that it becomes haunting. The drummer is no Charlie but it is good.
There are two versions out there. This is #2.[youtu.be]

For me it's two live ones. Kieth and Mick T's solos on Sympathy from Ya Ya's and both their solo spots on Rambler from Brussels.

Sorry, missed the studio part of the question. If its the studio then it's Bitch for Kieth and Winter for Mick T.

Definitely Sway. My only moaning about the song is that it's too short. The second solo should be longer.

Leaving us screaming for more is the oldest, and best, trick there is, isn't it?

It worked here smiling smiley

The Carla Olson versions are indeed superior to the Stones' version, from a solo standpoint. I can't tell you how many nights I've laid in the dark on the couch just listening to this tune on repeat. The solo is quite possibly one of the best things ever produced by any guitar player.

Don’t think it has been mentioned, and for sure it will not impress a Pink Floyd fan, but I always had a soft spot for Taylor’s solo on Casino Boogie

A side thought: very few stones singles have a famous solo (probably only Devil) and most of them don’t have a solo at all.

Or the solo was edited out for the 7" version.

Btw, I'd choose Mick T. over Gilmour every time. Gilmour has a definite sound and style of his own, true, but it's always in the same dramatic vein, and sloooow. There's clips on YouTube of 13 year old girls playing the Comfortably Numb solo more perfect than David himself smiling smiley
