It was (annoyingly) just before my time: girls in my class at school talked about their older brothers and sisters going to Eel Pie Island, but I was a year or two too young to go somewhere with the kind of reputation it had. Of course we were all fans of the Stones anyway, listened to the records, watched them on Ready Steady Go, but I never got to go and scream in person. I still have, somewhere, my wooden school ruler with "Mick Keith Brian Bill Charlie" scratched into it.Quote
