Not really, but high ticket prices and a gig addiction has caused plenty of hard times.

A couple of hours ago, I got the news that my mother has a sort of alzheimer, and she´s the same age as Ronnie (I read that only 10% under 65 years old get this). I guess I´ve seen the signs for a while, but maybe I wouldn´t admit it. The truth hit me like a rock in the face, and I had to leave work, I was all teared up. When I drove home, one of the first things I thought about, was this thread, I saw it last night - thank you very much. I´m putting on all the tracks you folks have mentioned and hope that the tears goes by. But, I feel so sorry for her, that I think I can cry a little more tonight, and I´ll for sure make myself a screwdriver now. Again, thanxx so much. This thread is worth a great deal to me, so bless your hearts.

Hi Elmo, she did make it that time, at least for a few more years

That's good. Our prayers are with both you and Ringo Kid.

Ringo, sorry to hear about your mom. She's way too young for that. Be strong.

Glad you like our song suggestions, but you'll find one that means something to you. Write back and tell us which one helps.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Thank you for your lovely thoughts.
I don´t really seek any special songs, I´m now on my third time through Out Of Our Heads. And I feel that the sad songs, like Cry To Me, songs with a sad, but very beautiful melody, helps a lot. For every suggestion here, I´m gonna dig it out and put it on. (also the happy melody of The under assistant west coast promotion man makes me smile a little.)

Right now - Wild Horses from Knebworth 76.
I put on the dvd, and it´s just so incredibly beautiful.
