Used so so effectively in The Coens -- Big Lebowski

Through The Years was my favorite.

Kenny Rogers was one of my first concerts in the early 90s. He was doing a corporate event at Marriott's Orlando World Center in a convention ballroom. My family was there organizing another event and the sales staff arranged for us to see him from the front row.

I remember asking my parents to get me the Kenny Rodgers "Quick pickin and fun stummin" guitar course that I had seen on TV commercials.

My favorite Kenny song just might be "Love will turn you around"

Got into him when he was with the First Edition. Any number of great songs could be listed for him. Here's my fave, his version of Lionel Ritchie's "Lady".

He came to University of Dayton Arena where I work security many times. Agree, loved both “Condition” and “Ruby” and my personal favorite, “Reuben James.”

Thank you and Rest In Peace

Kenny Rogers folds'em.
I almost posted that, but thought some might take it in bad taste. Certainly no sleight meant...great song, and a great reference to the departed Mr. Rogers.

Got to hand it to him-- he had a great career and some great hits !
Ruby, Coward of the County, The Gambler.

I can remember back in 2011 being driven through the mountains of Nicaragua in a beat up van, and the driver had an old 8-track player with only one 8 track tape: Kenny Rogers. We listened to that thing for hours.

My cousin and I have an ongoing contest to get out the first tasteless pun when a musician/athlete/celebrity passes. None are suitable for mass consumption.

"Kenny Rogers dies as coronavirus threatens world's population."

That's the most "know when to hold them, know when to fold them" shit I've ever heard.
