I didn’t notice this thread until today. Great idea! As with most things Stones, I get multiple gifts of them for Christmas and birthdays. I got 3 copies of Keith’s book Life one year. I got two of the Stones Trivial Pursuit game. Unfortunately, none of my close friends are Stones-aholics like I am, so I had no one with which to play this game! Someone at work got me one of these, and we opened it in the office because everyone wanted to see if I really knew anything about the Stones. A lot of these are REALLY hard. You either know the answer or you have no friggin’ idea. I was able to answer about 2 per card at the office, so everyone decided I did know my Stones since no one else was able to answer a single one. So this game sits in my closet.
Many, many years ago, a bunch of friends would get together and we’d listen to oldies all night while making our own hoagies (yes, in Philly) and playing regular (not Stones) Trivial Pursuit. The rule was, if you didn’t know the answer, you’d have to make up a funny answer. I got a question one time that was: “what does [Chinese words] mean in Chinese?” I had no clue so I tried to make up a funny answer and said “Avon calling.” Turns out, that was the actual correct answer and we got a huge laugh out of that.
