I have the original first edition
Oakland ´69 poster...as described by
Wolfgang´s Vault:

"The 1st printing poster is identified by the
presence of a black indentation in the innermost
silver border beneath the photograph directly
below Bill Wyman's (on the far right) left foot.
Also, at the top of the poster to the right of
the second "S" in "Stones", some fine white vertical
stripping errors are visible in the black background.
This original poster was printed before the concert
in a run of 3,000, and it measures 13 15/16" x 22 1/16".

It´s in a rough shape, but still a beauty.

I liked the London posters...simplicity works well sometimes.

of course, I went to the "Subway Closed" Twick show, so that helps....

I was at Twickers 2018 but don't recall the poster design!

it was just that "sketchy" No Filter Tongue w/ the location & date....they did a red one and a yellow (?) one for the 2 London dates.

very basic....but, cool (IMO)

great show, great times, not-so-fun getting home...

I like the simple posters best sometimes.

I took one of those Oakland 69 posters down from a telephone pole in Berkeley right before the show. Gave it away at some point though.

And who do they think they are fooling with that "Altamont" poster? totally bogus even an idiot would see that.

I remember one time in an antique shop this guy had a poster for a 1972 show that had a photo of the band circa 1978, with Ronnie Wood in the photo. I told the guy this isn't right, he just insisted it was and that hey Ronnie Wood played with the stones on some shows in 1972. Sure he did, its just no one but you knew about it. At some point someone was making a lot of bogus posters and distributing them through some underground channels to dolts who don't know their history.

Hey SF101, it Twickenham certainly was an excellent show. I went with my young children, who love the Stones, and they also had an absolute blast.

Luckily, my mother in law lives pretty close by in West London, so were able walk home within less than an hour. I only heard about the tube chaos the next day.

Agree. John Pasche turned out to be a key factor in the Stones becoming "independent", for fans visually starting in 1970. Great memories.
