Favorite 21st Century Keith Richards guitar moment

What's your favorite example of Keith's playing in this century? It could be a great solo or a killer tone that you love. Live or studio. Rolling Stones, solo or sideman. I'm interested in the responses.

Playing bass again throughout Crosseyed Heart. He used to play some pretty good bass parts back in the day.

Guitar studio: Robbed Blind
Guitar live: Going Down, O2, 1st show 2012
Bass: Love Overdue

Bonus: One of the licks he played on Fool To Cry in London 2018.

Studio would be a tie between "You Win Again" and "Lover's Plea." Both are sublime. The great riffs are gone, but he still has better feel than just about anyone.

Live would be the Licks tour. The theater shows in particular, but there were many highlights from Keith on that tour.

On a serious note, keith is still magical every time he's played Midnight Rambler in the 21st century - can't recall hearing a bad version ever - it's one of those tunes that's indestructible.
And I like all of his playing on Crosseyed Heart - acoustic, electric, lead, rhythm, bass, etc., and his singing is great as well.

Well, I'd say my favourite Keith's songwriting of the 21st century would be "Illusion" on Crosseyed Heart.
As far as playing is concerned, maybe the stuff he did on the Wingless Angels albums, those little licks and bits and pieces in the background.
On Stones-related stuff: his guitar playing on Anyway You Look At It. Because it shows what makes him different.

Yes!! In particular, this:
From around 11:00 where all eyes from the core band are on Keith, is a joy to watch (for me anyway!). Sad to say that IMHO he's never played as good since that tour.

That is such a great clip. Keith sounds ballsy, but please: Ronnie is wailing over there too. Especially right around 10-11 minute area.
And 11:25 may go down among the very best moments in Stones history for me, with Ronnie and Keith whirling around in unison, once the beat has been established LOL. What a great shot!

I had to watch that 11:25 mark about 5 times in a row. Jagger clapping out front. I think the only thing that could make that moment better is maybe Pierre coming over and gently leading Chuck off the stage, for good.

Studio - Lovers Plea, Robbed Blind and the rest of CH.
Netflix Doc - Keith on piano singing:
She got a mind of her own
And she use it well, yes she does
She got a mind of her own
And she use it, she used it mighty fine, yeah

The Rolling Stones Ole,Ole,Ole - backstage Keith on acoustic with Mick on Country
Honk.

I like how the post I made got manipulated into something different from the same show LOL!

Do you need a guitar to achieve that? Okay Keef probably would cease to find a reason to live if he didn't have a guitar at hand.

You've inspired me to go back and listen to "Anyway You Look At It" again. I've always thought it's one of the Top 5 most boring Stones songs...something about the structure and Mick's singing, but I'll zone in on Keith and see if it changes things.
