actually I just wanted to post this whole clip that for some odd reason I don't think I had ever watched. I have to say that Keith and Mick sound so good in this. They have a lot to say; say it well.

But maybe this would make a good thread anyway: good Stones quotes.

Listened to the audio book of Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman bio and he mentioned an encounter with Keef when they opened for the Stones in 1995.

Keef was walking by backstage when someone talking to Gorman asked Keef if he knew the Black Crowes.

Keef responded "Know em? I wrote em" and kept right on walking.

Gorman said he had a good laugh and said his first encounter with Keef lived up to all his expectations.
