Nice short read on the FBB Gilded Palace of Sin album. It does still sound good today, especially if your consciousness is elevated a bit. Article made me wonder which Stones stuff “Sneaky” Pete Kleinow played on. I don't recall.

he played with a lot of people (Little Feat, Joni Mitchell, Steve Wonder! et. al.), but don't think he ever sat-in on any Stones material.

Sneaky Pete played on an early version of Wild Horses. It was never released.

Great album! Hot Burrito #1 is a gem.

It's high time someone released their Altamont set. There is little live documentation of the Gram Parsons/Chris Hillman FBB. Amoeba Music self-released some 1969 material from the Fillmore West, but that's about it.

Gilded Palace Of Sin has indeed stood the test of time.
