Just booked my flight to Atlanta.
Looking for hotel now.
Does anyone know if the "Midtown" area is close to the stadium and a good place to stay? Or any recommendations?

Midtown, depending on where you are at, it's about 15 minutes from Mercedes Benz stadium- 4 miles or so if you're driving. There are many hotels in that area, you could try the Atlanta ALOFT hotel as it seemed to have the lowest price a few days ago, it may have changed by now however. Marriot Marquis also or Sheraton Atlanta hotel. Anyway, good luck with your search.

No, you can catch Marta in Midtown from several spots, Peachtree Station - North Avenue - Civic Center station. If I remember correctly any of those stations would take you to the Five Point station and travel time I guess would be around 15 minutes depending on where you started from in Midtown. Once you get to the Five Point station, switch trains and go west on the green or blue line trains for about a 10 minute ride to MB stadium. It's been awhile since I've been to Atlanta however so you might want to check further on the Marta web site as I'm just guessing about the travel times. Good luck.

Section 116 looks decent. It’s not super close to the action but you’ll be able to see everything on the screens.

Hi BFR, nice to hear from you. it looks decent from the map; my only concern is row 37, but I think it's alright. I'm debating between those seats & rear GA. The only thing about rear GA, you need to get there early to get in front. Where are your seats if you don't mind me asking?

I would be happy with any song except No Expectations. It won the Atlanta song vote in 1997 so I already heard it. I have never heard the other three. I would probably want She's A Rainbow first but Angie or Fool To Cry would be fine, too.

Angie would be second choice.

Might save No Expectations for FL and the smaller venue. Rainbow will win here. Guessing sn upbeat list for the TX racetrack. Kind of running out of time for some of these songs.

Have LDs I can't use for Atlanta but have given up trying to reach TM.. A month of emails and zero response,

SO if anyone has a "secret" in with TM and can reach them I would be happy to transfer these to you at BELOW face.. (I ate my Dallas LDs cuz no response from them, so no more trying on my part which is why I will knock something off the price if you can figure it out.. something is better than nothing, unused tickets are not tasty)
