Detroit Keith side pits are down to face value at the moment.

446 USD + fees.

Saw this yesterday. And now I'll be headed to Detroit's show to hang in Keith's pit B.
That's show #3 for me this tour. LD's for STL and MN. Pit B for DET. That's probably it for 2021. Excited!

Has it really been 19 years since I saw them at this venue? Time sure flies.

I’ve seen the stones many times and that 2015 Detroit show was amongst the best. They were on fire! And you finally got to see Mick and Keith harmonize during just my imagination! Classic. And the sound was fantastic. Matt Lee do you remember that show my friend!? We sat right across the aisle from each other. You had your wild pattern shirt on!

I have 2 Lucky Dip tickets to the Detroit show, which I cannot attend. For some reason, refunds are not being allowed for this show. I don't want these tickets to go to waste, so free to a good home I guess. I know you're supposed to have id and original cc to pick up the tickets, but I've seem them pretty lax about this in years past. If someone wants these, please let me know.

TM is able to arrange the LDs to be picked up by another person if you contact them beforehand. At least people have done this in the past. See MisterDDDD's post in rhe Lucky Dip thread.

Responded in the LD thread but I'll say it here as well - very interested if we can arrange to have TM transfer the tickets as they could do in 2019 for the rescheduled dates.

It can get cold this time o year in Detroit. For anyone living in the area who has been to Ford Field, does it have a roof? Is there any public transit to and from the venue?

Domed. No real public transport. Hotels downtown within walkable distance. The city has spruced up quite a bit downtown. Greektown is nearby with restaurants and a casino. Hotel shuttles to the airport.

If anyone is interested I have two tickets for Detroit for sale in the ticket trader forum. They are in section H, face value is $446 each. I'm not expecting to make back what I paid, just looking to recoup as much of my loss as I can. Let me know if interested smiling smiley

There is the Green Line which comes down Woodward from the North and stops right in front of the stadium. Not much in the way of hotels up there though. You could find, cheaper, easier access and egress parking there however, and ride another mile south.

The People Mover goes from the Renaissance Center on the river in a loop through downtown where there are a lot of hotels. Its closest stop is about two blocks from the stadium. It MAY be closed for repairs, however. Yep... Detroit.

Dang, I purchased LD tickets for Detroit last year and have been holding on to them this whole time waiting on the band to reschedule the postponed date. However just now when I was checking my Ticketmaster acccount it is now saying the tickets have been voided. Has anybody else had that happen to them? I have no clue why they would have been voided.

Detroit - Advice needed! Where to sit on a budget?

Hi, how bad will limited view be in 116 & 117?
I am bringing my 8.5 year old son from New York, and I want both my wife and him to enjoy it, will the “limited view seating” be a useless experience?

I thought that this head on position, short of being close, would be very exciting and satisfying…, But would really welcome all advice and help…!

I don’t think it would be a useless experience in sections 116 and 117. Those are relative head on seats and should be pretty clear sight lines imo with very minor obstruction by the thin sound towers.

That being said, if I was coming from New York, I would spring for closer seats. For an extra $50 a ticket, you can sit in the higher rows in the lower level (100 level) sections closest to the stage such as 105 - 107, which would be outstanding sight lines and sound.

If driving that way, even if from upstate New York, I’d still spring the extra $50 or so each for better seats.

I notice at a lot of shows the side limited view isn't really that bad.

The "limited view" is actually one of the best values. And if you can hold onto the compulsion to buy the tickets now... wait till day of show or day before show... the prices are all being reduced for every show. So many people grabbing the last minute pit or floor seats and piling into the GA rear.. that LOTS of "limited view".. which are actually as others have stated.. some of the best views.. your closer to stage.. head on.. and yes you give up some of the screens which u see from the front.. but these are great value seats.. and your kids will get a chance to sit at times.. where as many other times.. your seats.. your gonna have to stand cause everyone in front of you is standing. Enjoy the show and all parents out there.. bring and insist your kids attend.. I did for Tampa .. told our sons you are experiencing YOLO history... and our sons LOVED it.
