Thank you for this, very helpful. However, something fishy going on, as for days only bronze lawn tix have been available and now even those seem to have become unavailable. Hoping there is a ticket drop soon...

Wear your hiking boots for this show.
Going to be a lot of walking.
Logistics suck for this venue.
No thank you.

Lol. Different strokes…been to many shows here, never much of a hike…it’s all perspective though.

My lot is not far from the venue at all. And I can take the back roads to get in without going anywhere near the main entrance. It's all about planning ahead. I can't wait, it's gonna be a blast! Just wish Gary Clark Jr was opening but going to see him tonight here in New Orleans.

Yup… smileys with beer

For reference, distance from Turn 11 of the track (closest turn to Gate 1) to Turn 12 (closest turn to Gate 2) is 3/4 mile.

Besides perspective, this also depends if you want to pay for the $30 parking lot fee or the $200 parking lot fee... you'll get some perspective from comparing.

Does anyone know if one can park on the residential streets near COTA? Despite what that FAQ states of parking from $30, I’m only seeing $60 (for Lot A) and up to $200 on Ticketmaster. Lot A looks pretty far from where the concert is held.

I’ve driven a car to 6 out of the 7 shows I’ve seen this year and have spent a total of $15 for parking, which was in Tampa, where I parked at someone’s house a block away from the stadium instead of paying $40.

I’ve attended F1 events at COTA and always parked in a COTA lot. Not a lot of other alternatives that I’ve found. No real “residential streets” nearby.

I’d suggest heading to FM812 and Elroy Road around Lot T; maybe you can find a place to park on side of road. I’d assume there’s a way to walk from there to Gate 3 but it’s a 1.5-2 mile hike to concert area from there each way (farther walk than Lot A).

There are some private lots in that area. Assume they will be parking cars Saturday; Google “Chris Taylor Racing” and “Ruiz Parking”. Guessing they charge $20 or so. Likely will be others in neighborhood parking cars in their yard around there; maybe you can get a deal.

The Reddit suggestion might help too. Good luck!

How reliable is Lyft there? Talking about early morning flight the next day? Terrible luck with some nailbiters the 2 times I tried here so I just take the bus but not really an option there it looks like (Line 20 starts late Sunday)

Hi Dan
Bus 20 is very easy from airport to downtown.

The closest can get by bus circuit of americas is 12321 Pearce/Las Alas
4.5 miles from track is 1 hour 30 minutes walk with nothing after show

This location is where some people try to pickup after show
Exxon, 7200 Elroy Rd, Del Valle, TX 78617
3 miles 1 hour walk from track

Have heard about a fan organized bus with 40 seats leaving from and returning to the hilton garden airport at 5pm and returning after show for $40 person.

I'm also looking to go to airport after show

I have a ride to the show and back but more concerned about getting to the airport early in the morning, as I have had terrible luck with cars not showing up, no cars available, bait n switch pricing etc (tho I admit one of the days was Christmas morning and I was assuming everyone was like me and loved to work and make money on Christmas)

This link is from The Austin Chronicle (free press)
They show, basically, every act in every club in Austin for any evening.
Check it out. It's very easy to navigate.
Approx. 85 events listed per night.

The Continental Club and The Broken Spoke are my favorite venues.

Also the scene on Rainey Street is not to be missed. Tons of bars, restaurants, live music all in one easily walkable area. It is THE place for the hip. This is the REAL Austin of 2021.
