The photos show this area behind the pit and not within the pit. I never noticed this before I was always closer to the front and looking at the stage.

I have been to all the shows so far. I have seen VIP passes in the pit but not a special section for VIP's. I've moved around the pit at all three shows and seen nothing like a special section.

I saw it in St Louis -after the fact via pic (I'll see if I can dig out) as I didn't realize that's likely where my "special" wristband was supposed to land me as I mentioned.

Have also seen it at the various shows I went to last year -in Chicago it was quite a rowdy group going back and forth from it. I ended up on my ass thanks to a group from there.. They started out in the pit, then went to the VIP area, abandoning their pit spot, came back (drunk) 3/4 thru the show demanding the exact spot they had during the warmup. Lol. They got escorted out of the pit (shoulda been the venue) and then proceeded to still harass from the VIP area. Been around for quite a while on the NF tour at least.

Kinda hard to even notice it if you're not looking for it.. it's right by the catwalk directly behind Pit 2. Not marked.. but gated with attendant(s).

Yeah.. always right behind the pit..
Does look like there's an area on Ronnie's side as well. I always shoot for that back rail when I can (I've got a horrible back, nice to lean on rail and see whole stage). Used to be, and still is on occasion, a place for their actual friends & family to hang. Seems to be used more now for promoters f & f etc when they aren't in really big market areas I think.

Enjoy Nashville !!

If you are in Nashville today the band is arriving around 430pm today.

Do they still have their own jumbo jet? I checked Flight Aware for any private flights from Pittsburgh and didn't see it.

It's not their own and not a jumbo jet, but yes, they charter a private jet. Bernard posted a photo of it on his social a while ago.

No, it's a normal plane by Delta Airlines, exclusively used during the RS flights - see here: [iorr.org] .

Also, how do you buy Lucky Dips? We have pretty good seats in Sec 234, but I thought about buying a couple of LD's and see what happens. If they are real good, we could sell the seats we have (1st row of Sec 234).

Selling 1 Lucky Dip for Nashville plus Nissan Stadium Parking.
Already made arrangements with Ticketmaster for an alternate to pick up my tickets.
I will let them know the name of the person that will be picking up the tickets. He/She will need an ID to show at the Will Call window.

Just had a thought. Would be cool if they played all 5 fan vote songs. And they could kind of customized the set list depending on the city they’re in. Country-tinged in Nashville and TX. Blues based in Chicago and New Orleans. Motown in Detroit. That would be a novel idea for a tour. That ones free, Mick and Chuck.

Was it? OK, my bad...he posted it recently, but now I see the caption was "Daughters Day". So it was a throwback post.

My apologies!

I've lost track, what's the current covid policy for this concert? Masks or tests required?

Recycling social media pics along with a bit of a long break has me wondering what the group might be up to in Music City.
Another five day gap before LA as well.

More rehearsing?
Also lots of studios around Nashville as well.

Very few masks to be seen here in Nashville, except for in the hotel lobby areas, in shops, when entering restaurants, and on public transportation.

This is from the Nissan Stadium link posted above:

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, guests will not be required to show proof of vaccination or any type of negative COVID-19 testing results for the Rolling Stones here in Nashville. Masks are not required at this time, however we strongly recommend that if you are not vaccinated to please wear a mask.
