What time do the gates open for the show on Saturday? Who else on here is going to Nashville as well? I would like to meet people. We are staying in a hotel near airport but am looking for a downtown hotel instead.

I'm hoteling by the airport as well. About 5-6 miles from Nissan Stadium. I'll either Uber or use a shuttle service (it's a pay for service) from the hotel. Can't wait for the show, I'll likely be wearing my IORR shirt (thanks BV), looking forward to meeting fellow IORR's !!

Our hotel is by the airport as well. We wanted downtown, but this was the closest we could find that didn't cost a fortune. My brother is driving up from Huntsville, AL and I am driving down from Indy. I think we will get checked in and drive in early and find a place to park within walking distance of the stadium, get a bite, etc.. Anyone meeting up at a bar within walking distance? Where to park?

Also, how do you buy Lucky Dips? We have pretty good seats in Sec 234, but I thought about buying a couple of LD's and see what happens. If they are real good, we could sell the seats we have (1st row of Sec 234).

I’ll be staying near Vanderbilt but would like to do a pre-show meet up. Rock Bottom Brewery has been suggested. It’s an easy walk across the pedestrian bridge to the stadium from Broadway. They have food and outdoor seating.

We are staying north of town off I-65... haven't ironed out the pre-show strategy yet for parking, etc.

Lookin' forward to this show, the gig in 2015 was pretty loaded with surprises from Brad Paisley's guests, to him doin' Dead Flowers with The Stones, and them playing Far Away Eyes...

Was kinda hoping for another big Country opener, but the show will still have some twang!

Whooohooo, headed to Nashville on Thursday, look forward to seeing some IORR'ers there. I will be wearing my IORR shirt too, lol, if I can still fit in it. We are staying across from the stadium, same place we stayed when they last played in Nashville, room is a little pricey but you can't beat the convenience of just walking across the street to the stadium.

I think BFR got bit by the Stones in St. Louis and now has to go to all the shows.

Anyone know anything about a "VIP Platinum Pit"? Supposedly a separate more exclusive pit right against the rail along the catwalk. I have an opportunity to purchase this (at substantial cost). Supposedly there is room to roam in this area, much less people, etc. Is this better than Pit 2 (Which I already have)?

Interesting.. there's been a VIP/Friends/Family area for a while adjacent to Pit2 along the catwalk.
Believe my GA was upgraded to that area in St Louis -not sure as I couldn't find where the "special" wristband was supposed to land me, so I grabbed an unsold seat. Looking at footage it didn't appear to be less crowded there, but I have seen it less crowded before (Chicago etc).

I wouldn't prefer it over the pit (or a seat) personally, at least not for more $$.
Not sure where your "opportunity" is coming from, but it is interesting that there is a push (?) to fill this area, if there is.

I have been to all the shows so far. I have seen VIP passes in the pit but not a special section for VIP's. I've moved around the pit at all three shows and seen nothing like a special section.

I saw it in St Louis -after the fact via pic (I'll see if I can dig out) as I didn't realize that's likely where my "special" wristband was supposed to land me as I mentioned.

Have also seen it at the various shows I went to last year -in Chicago it was quite a rowdy group going back and forth from it. I ended up on my ass thanks to a group from there.. They started out in the pit, then went to the VIP area, abandoning their pit spot, came back (drunk) 3/4 thru the show demanding the exact spot they had during the warmup. Lol. They got escorted out of the pit (shoulda been the venue) and then proceeded to still harass from the VIP area. Been around for quite a while on the NF tour at least.

Kinda hard to even notice it if you're not looking for it.. it's right by the catwalk directly behind Pit 2. Not marked.. but gated with attendant(s).
