The problem with Christmas gifts is that a lot of times you get something you didn't ask for. That means with our luck we probably get another best off album.eye rolling smiley

Or maybe, just maybe, the BEST ALBUM SINCE EXILE ON MAIN STREET!!!

It would be the second time for the first best album since EOMS to occur, of which the second time for another (I'm not sure if it was the first) best album since EOMS was first done for a second time.

as far as I am concerned the real news here is that there's no reliable information about it yet.
This Facebook page does not publish any reliable source. they just say to say, to keep the publicity of their little bar

Not true. Starting with Some Girls, every album subsequently released has been the "Best Album since Exile". Weird we can't get past Exile. I nominate the next album be touted as the BEST ALBUM SINCE AFTERMATH!

I recall that the Creem magazine review for Love You Live called it their best since Exile.

Your closing line reminds me of my best friend's older brother--who is 71 now.

When we were in high school he used to say that "the Stones haven't been any good since Aftermath!"

Known and unverified from 1972 Kingston sessions... released in bold (excluding Criss Cross from the METAMORPHOSES soundtrack):

- You Should Have Seen Her Ass (MJ/KR) -Nicky Hopkins on piano

I really would love to see some of these ones in perfect quality.
If we get an Exile/SomeGirls treatment my money is on either "you should have seen her dance" or "you should have seen her face"

HAHA! Oh shit. Mick's gonna PC it, huh. Hopefully he's over that. I've never thought of the Stones as a self-righteous band. When did they stop pissing people off?

Something happened in 1989 it seems.

well they're pissing us off with being PC...so perhaps never
But maybe ass is alright (as long as it is of legal age I think), he also sang the "put your umbrella up your ass" line on Yellow Cab

But it's different with a title and chorus that says "ass"

I'll bet "eyes" is more likely than the guesses mentioned above, though it'll ruin the song completely.
Almost as bad as changing "I Love Ladies" into "I Love Babies"

Well there is that bit in Sharks Will Cry which, amazingly, took a lot of work to get right, as well as I Go Wild.

I don't remember (alluding to anal sex). (Laughs) It just spilled out. Honest... Actually, even Keith raised an eyebrow. He was going around afterwards going, Did he really say that? Did he?

Great info, thanks.

So I guess the 4-CD version will be only on the Limited Superdeluxe Edition, as it's the one referred on that link. Nice to see that the release date is confirmed as well, as previously posted by Georgelicks.

Also looks like there is a 2 LP vinyl version too, if this TBC thing applies. I don't know what "TBC" means. I am assuming its some acronym for arriving soon.

TBC in vinyl

thing is, the cd edition says its 7 disks and that conflicts with the 4 disk report, although they may have thrown in a couple of 7" or something to make the total come out to 7.

looks exciting anyway.

My bet for the super Deluxe Edition:

Disc 1 - Original Album
Disc 2 - Outtakes and Alternate Versions
Disc 3 - Brussels Affair (same as already released)
Disc 4 - 7" Single Angie

This is what I expect. Everything else would surprise me smiling smiley

Can't see 7 disc version. But Brussels in previous editions was on 3LP. So, no need to drop in extra 7" to get 7 winking smiley.

Brussels was on 2CD in big box from Archives and as bonus for WARD Records Marquee 71 deluxe. Thus, 4 disc could be easily 2LP/2CD (original album + bonus discs in two formats) or
Disc 1 - Original Album
Disc 2 - Outtakes and Alternate Versions
Disc 3 - Brussels Affair (part1)
Disc 4 - Brussels Affair (part 2)
