Nashville refund option is now showing. Except I've requested a refund and it still shows the 'request refund' option, so don't have a lot of confidence in it...

syrel

Like last years postponement, once a refund request is made it should then get approved and an email will be sent to you.
And if after hitting the submit option, a message pops up that says "You will receive your refund in as soon as 30 days" (as seen in my previous post), I'd assume it went through.
But unlike last years postponement, this is set up as a "self service" request for refund and there's no interaction with someone via chat or on the phone, so hard to say exactly what is happening.
And because this is crooked Ticketmaster, I suppose nothing is guaranteed until the money is in the bank. Guess we'll have to wait and see....

I’ve never really thought about it but where do they put all that money?
Not just for the Stones but the millions of dollars in ticket sales that are paid in advance for shows months from the onsale date.
With this economy let’s hope they put it somewhere safe.

I wish you safety but you really are all doom and gloom

I ask you to look at Macau casinos- closed on february 5th and reopened on february 20 today is march 23.
They have been reopened for over 30 days!
The regulator and government would not have reopened if was as bad as you say.

One of the reasons Italy was hit so hard- because they have the oldest population in Europe

So what you are saying is it would be safe for Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie to move their tour to Macao and do 15 shows there may be?

Artedm,
If you would have kept your eyes and ears wide open from the start you would have noticed that early political statements were drenched in (hidden) statements, because economy and money making was still in the lead (hidden). But corona beat those politicians and now we're in a state of chaos. So your conclusion on Macao is yours and has nothing to do with what bv says. He's gathering FACTS.

For the record, I wasn't talking about the now postponed tour per se, I was talking about the flights - and how the different airlines are handling the situation.

For fans who were planning to travel from Europe, you actually have better passenger's rights due to the EU regulation.

See the European Commission's guidelines here:

[ec.europa.eu]

Out of six different airlines I had purchased flights from for this leg, I had been waiting on two (Alaska and Delta) to extend their virus cancelation policies into May to qualify for no cancellation/change fees etc. Just yesterday, they both did. Worth revisiting for anyone still sitting on airline tix, as I believe they all now have updated their policies.

Yes - they keep changing it up as they go.BTW, thank you for that Westjet policy correction, fanch.

The long-haul is what I was most worried about, of course, but I'll be fine.

DO NOT send the boys to Macau!

24/3/20 - HONG KONG (Reuters) - The world's biggest gambling hub of Macau will ban entry from Wednesday for visitors from mainland China, neighbouring Hong Kong and Taiwan who have travelled overseas in the previous 14 days, as it battles a coronavirus pandemic.

Macau has 25 infections and visitors from the Greater China region make up more than 90% of its tourists. Last week it had banned foreign visitors and foreign non-resident workers, while exempting those from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

People who have not travelled abroad in the past two weeks also face 14 days of quarantine, Ho Iat Seng, the leader of the former Portuguese colony, said on Tuesday.

"The government assures all Macau citizens it will do a good job in epidemic prevention at any cost," Ho added.

Although Macau's casinos have reopened after a two-week suspension in February, revenues have plummeted by almost 90 percent, hit by visit curbs and health regulations.

Visitors to Macau dropped 96 percent in February on the year, while its government slashed a forecast for annual gross gaming revenue by 56%, to 130 billion patacas (14.03 billion pounds), from 260 billion estimated last year.

More than 80 percent of Macau's revenue comes from casinos. Operators Wynn Macau, Sands China, MGM China, Melco Resorts, SJM Holdings and Galaxy Entertainment are all bleeding between $1.5 million and $4 million a day to keep their properties running.

Analysts expect March gambling revenue to fall up to 80 percent.

I think you put too much power into my hands. I am just quoting what leading pandemic experts and virus experts are saying.

Fact is these events are postponed and/or canceled:

- Summer Olympics Japan - Postponed 12 months until 2021
- European Football Championship - Postponed until 2021
- World Championship in Ice Hockey 2020 - Cancelled
- The Rolling Stones Tour 2020 - Postponed

Believe me, nobody called me and then canceled these events based on what I am saying. I am just forwarding facts to those who care. It is hard to deny the death rates in Europe and USA these days.

I have absolutely no idea when The Rolling Stones will be touring next, but if you are keeping your hotel booking for May 8 then you will probably need to cancel at some point.

Yeah just like they get swamped when tickets are released and the system seems to work just fine when taking people’s money let’s see how long refunds will take.

Buffalo status changed to "Postponed" as well. First, phone Wallet notification - mobile tickets changed status. Then, also account status showed "Postponed". Had to click "Refund" button / done. So, again back into the waiting phase for the Shows.

I know this crisis has stressed out most of us, and yet I can't believe how so many of you are not comprehending the seriousness of this virus. Why are you not believing BV....or the doctors...or experts who have dealt with pandemics all over the world? Do you think BV takes any joy in telling us NO TOUR this year and perhaps not even next year? He's one of the biggest fans on the planet! Wake up, start really listening to what's happening globally..we'll be lucky if this is over by Christmas! Put things into perspective, and be glad if you or someone close to you doesn't become seriously ill. PRIORITIZE! Get a grip and stop thinking it's ok to PARTY!! It is not OK! Do the world a favor and grow up.

Atlanta is showing "postponed" on my account page. No refund option yet. I think I will get the refund when the option appears. It should be no problem finding tickets if I want to go to a rescheduled show.

Thanks, I was going to ask about refunds for other cities thinking it might be just for Lucky Dips to begin with based on my refund/request last night for Dallas.
San Diego still not showing refund option, and would like to refund my floor seat whenever I can thank you please. However, since last night I noticed in my TM account/orders that the Dallas show that I requested a refund for has dropped down to the bottom (below ZZ Top postponement) whereas last night it was still in order based on date of show. No email confirmation yet, but pretty sure it's going to happen.

As for other bands, I have a ticket for Supergrass at the Wiltern on April 1st - there was a facebook message from the band about travel restrictions from the UK, etc., but the show has still not been postponed or cancelled....
Perry Ferrel show at Roxy scheduled for last week was rescheduled for November 2020.
Madness at Greek Theater May 24 still not postponed/cancelled, but should be soon.
Steely Dan/Steve Winwoood at Hollywood Bowl June 8 still not postponed/cancelled, but again should be soon.
Roger Waters tour beginning June 8 still on for now, but shows I have tix for aren't until Sept....doubtful any of the dates will go forward though.

Hoping everyone is safe and healthy, staying as sane as possible during these crazy times....

I have tickets to Steely Dan/ Steve Winwood as well and I am hoping that the show will still go on.

Roger Waters I have tickets for three dates and I am surprised this tour hasn't been postponed. To put a show of this scale on has to take at least a month or more of prep and rehearsals. I guess I'll find out soon.

It pains me to say this but I think under the circumstances the Stones did the right thing and protected the majority.

Yeah Topi that is odd - just checked again for my San Diego standard price Sec A5 ticket and still no refund option.
Seems that things are still in disarray, and hopefully should all be worked out eventually...
