I was not able to purchase tickets using my VISA card. It looked like they only wanted American Express.

Charlotte presale was a cluster__k. From the forum sounds like a lot of us are striking out on this one.

Something about the combination of the Stones and TM that does not work well. I buy many tickets through Amex presale and other means. Never, but never the difficulty with RS-TM combo.

A few of the pleasures were....

Long queues on one device, shorter by far on another with different account
Tickets vaporizing before you can click on two
Got two tickets and can't get signed in before the are tossed back
Clogged up seat chart with TM Platinums, even though I don't want to see them
(Platinum tickets are just another way for TM to hose us fans that try to resell a set to offset the nosebleed prices)
Amex Preferred seats that won't unlock even though they say they are

Guess I'll try again another time. Never seen RS shows "sold out" anyway just a way to make fake demands...

Good luck.

Mike

Once again, I got PIT tickets last year for CHI 1, 2, and Seattle all the week of the show. There is no reason to think demand is going to be greater or these tickets any harder to come by this year. I had two in the cart for Minneapolis and decided to pass so I can firm up plans and finalize which show(s) I will attend. I have no doubt I'll be able to get tose PIT tickets again when/if I want thep. Cool out people ;-)

Regarding PLATINUM:

once again:
They are tickets sold by TM. They are "flexible",
donĀ“t buy them now. They will go up and down.
The shows are months ahead. Stay calm and
get them when they are close to the original price.
Some of them even turn up with the regular price when
the show comes closer.

I experienced it for Metlife last year.

I had a change of heart and ordered. Wanted rear GA but don't have an AE card so got something else for slightly more. At least I get to rest easy tonight knowing I'm in! All smiles now.

PRESALE IS GREAT FOR THOSE TRYING TO GET FACE VALUE TICKETS!

If you are patient and use the filters for weeding out VIP, Platinum, etc.
Successful twice this AM with both Pit and G Circle.

Actually Mexico / Other country as an option for some ticket types, but not all. It is very inconsistent. For example for Cleveland, I can only see Pit via a VIP package...but it can only deal with USA / Canada residents. But other ticket types at same venue don't have this restriction.

Figure that one out.

I am having trouble buying a ticket for Atlanta pit. Ticketmaster says that I must log into one of my express checkout accounts to use it as a payment method. Anyone know what that means? Thanks.

I am accessing from Japan and saw Mexico / Other country button on Cleveland page.

How do you weed out the Vip and platinum? I had 499.00 pit tickets
appearing but were always taken by another fan when tried to purchase

Patience! These "face value" tickets are like an opening negotiation. I'm saying not just no, but "HELL NO" to the tickets at these prices. They will sink like a Stone as we get closer to the shows.

Assuming at check out there was an "express checkout" button and a regular one.
Just a guess though.

There are filters at the top of the screen. I hit "clear all" and then select 'Fan Presale, and "American Express presale" boxes.
Only those will show up then in your search results. Both of those will then be "face"value.

I don't think this is true. Last year pit tickets never went below 442+fees anywhere. Glendale I think was the cheapest. Pretty much every other city it was 499+fees face. Never below.

If you are talking about Platinum (which you should not be searching to begin with!) then you are right about prices fluctuating.

You have to be familiar with the system. Lots of rookie mistakes happening.

Anybody have any idea why no e-ticket option at all? I wasn't thrilled to be charged $5 to mail my paper tickets, but paper tickets only seems like a regression in ticket sales technology.

There is an e-ticket option if you have (or get) their app..

It probably only costs a percentage of that five dollars to actually mail them to customers so think how much extra they are creaming off the top on every ticket they post out.
