WHAT happened to THE WHO

Re: What

Yeah, exactly.

Why tour with only 2 originals? The toured w/out The OX?!?!?!

They should now be known as The Why.

They were at one time one of my favorite bands...they started their decline
when they brought Kenny Jones into the mix to replace Moon; Last few times
I have seen them, they seemed to be going through the motions. Townsend's
writing piss poor as of late..Daltry's voice losing it's edge..

I'd be interested in seeing the Keith Moon movie with Mike Meyers..I think he
would do a great job...

they were awesome at the house of blues chicago 4 years ago. the new album has been pushed back for so long i don't think it will ever happen. maybe in 2029!

I would have agreed with you 100% on Daltrey's singing until the show I saw in Birmingham last year

He seems to have got the old 'pipes' working just fine again and was screaming on "love reign o'er me" and "wont get fooled again" just like he used to. apparently he got some kind of treatment from the TV hypnotist Paul McKenna which helped.

Good one Leonard!

The next CD will be called "Who's Still Alive?" Seriously, I last saw them in '02 and they sounded good, although Entwistle was sorely missed. I'm not seeing them again until and unless they put out a new album, but Townshend is such a pussy about it (I'm sure he's afraid it will suck and get blasted by the critics, and he's probably right) that I doubt it will ever happen.
