Exciting news that finally made my day - as this was my absolute favourite out of all their tours - IRONY/SARCASM OFF...

What's the difference between 2017 and Ole Ole Ole, Hyde Park, and Havana Moon?

Songs from Hot Rocks 2 were played in different order.

The differences in arrangements from one set of dates to another are often small...

...but I love hearing those subtle evolutionary twists in even the most frequently played "warhorses".

"What's the difference between 2017 and Ole Ole Ole, Hyde Park, and Havana Moon?"

Well for a start we got Sympathy as an opener, worth it alone to produce a DVD/CD combo IMHO.

If I remember it well, they used another stage in 2017 as they did the years before, had another Opener (which they had never used so far) and had an almost complet different first half set. Also, they played two songs from BAL...

Yes, by 2017 it was the No Filter concept.

another live album?

hmm.

I'll say three things:

a) it'd better have "Shine a Light" from Amsterdam.

b) if songs can't be purchased individually in some "album only" scam...I'm out...I have plenty of versions of Satisfaction, thank you very much.

c) they should put ALL the acoustic tunes on it...

better yet...(sorry, this makes 4 things):

d) just put out the "rarities" and the acoustic tunes...

They've done this before to no avail, they'd be better off releasing a 2018 show rather than 2017, the performance difference was like night and day.

F***in' hell, are some of ya folks even Stones fans? I could spend a whole afternoon and evening drinking, singing and playing along to the latest Vault release, then do it all over again 2 Days later plus it'd be even more fun if it starts with Sympathy.

I think 2017 felt more fresh than 2018, the nocturnal intros is summat we haven't seen for a long time and smaller indoor shows (or just Indoor, darkness gives it more edge) like the trio in Paris is always more preferred than a stadium show in broad daylight.

The 2017 tour constitutes a loss of mojo on a groundbreaking new level. Compared to 2018 it's a whole different reality. They should release a box set of 2014 shows if you ask me

2018 european leg for me would be my choice, they were on great form, stuttgart, warsaw and berlin being the highlights.

Great catch.

No Filter tour for me is their best since Babylon. Just my opinion.

Yes the first couple shows of 17 were rusty but by around Zurich they were on top form.

I'm a sucker for rusty but that's not what that was. It was like the revelation that a scheduled "Stones concert" could and would happen even against the actual Stones' will

God bless your ears. I don't hear anything 'different' for years. Keith finally shook off a little rust he'd had since 2012. You used to be able to close your eyes and pretty much tell what era they're playing in. That hasn't happened in now more than 20 years.
