Ii maybe takes a clip like that for some folks to appreciate the quality of Charlie's drumming.

It's just not in yer face like all those flash buggers with kits so big they don't know what half the drums are for...but at least they can't miss one !

Charlie-there’s a reason I’ve been on IORR for 10 years and there’s only one Stone I’ve never made a negative comment about.

I only listen to the band on 1.live bootlegs and 2. Studio bootlegs. You catch a lot of unguarded moments on those and I’m telling you,Charlie thinks he’s a jazz drummer,and if I ever meet him I’ll tell him he’s full of it-he’s a rock and roll drummer and one of the best who ever lived.
He beats the holy hell out of those drums; you have to look to really find it but that’s one of the secrets baked in the Stones cake.when you see the others praising him they’re not just trying to be cute or overly deferential.
He’s rockin like a muthrfckr.

Correction-I’ve never criticized Bill either.those two= the secret sauce.like any great band,if you look past the rockstars and study the rhythm section it all becomes crystal clear.
