The Swingin' Sixties...those were the daze. Twiggy also appeared in a number of movies, television shows and stage productions, along with recording "music". And there was Jean Shrimpton before her and a host of other, what I call "It Girls" in the 60s. The movie "Darling" with Julie Christie, Dirk Bogarde and Laurence Harvey reflected some of the It Girl thing/era.

I always think of Lulu (UK Singer) and Twiggy together.
Both emerged in the 1960s.
Still look great now; never indulged in the drink and drugs scene; didn't get ripped off financially; didn't go into tax exile despite being high earners; have reinvented themselves successfully. Cilla Black was another.
Could teach some of their Male contemporaries a thing or two!
