Always look forward to hearing The Christmas Album by Nat King Cole throughout the season.

Favorite song is O Holy Night. It reminds me of when my dad sent my sister and I to go and get some tree decorations from the local store (probably tinsel) when we were decorating the tree. I was 15 and she was 16. That song came on the radio while we were driving to the store. It makes me think of my beautiful sister, long gone.

"The Christmas Song" as done by Nat King Cole is my all time fave. But, it wouldn't be Christmas without a blast of "Xmas at K-Mart" by Root Boy Slim. Classic in its own way.

On the other end of the spectrum, I love all of Brian Setzer's Christmas stuff.

Other faves:

James Taylor and Rod Stewart's Christmas albums. Many of the above mentioned ones too - Phil Specter, Keith, etc.

I'm glad this topic was brought up.

I was in a Record shop last Christmas time & a blues-rock song was
playing & the lyrics had something about Christmas bells or balls,
some kind of funny double entendre, but I've never been able to find
the song, would anybody happen to know?

I’m old fashioned and prefer more traditional Christmas songs such as Adeste Fidelis and Silent Night.

Yes, definitely one of my favorites as well.

I also enjoy the Kinks' Father Christmas, plus Jethro Tull's A Christmas Song...and Bruce's Santa Claus since that was one of the first rock & roll Xmas tunes I heard as a kid.

Agreed. Although I love Angela Hewitt's keyboard Bach.Keith Jarrett can be a bit annoying on Bach, as can Glenn Gould.
