great film this, just watched it tonight, modern take on the 'whodunnit' with Daniel Craig and Chris Evans playing against type. Whole of Sweet Virginia over final scene and titles too :-) nicely done.

Knives Out is a really fun movie! Highly recommended.

I'm happy for Rian Johnson after all the unfair abuse that was heaped on him over The Last Jedi. There were certainly parts of TLJ I didn't particularly like either, but the amount of vitriol aimed in his direction was uncalled for.

I just saw this movie a couple days ago. The movie was good and I recommend it.
I stayed through the ending titles and noticed “Sweet Virginia” was listed as
being owned by ABKCO. This must have been one of the songs that Klein was able
to claw back from the stones - even though it was released in 1972 on “Exile on
Main Street”.

I think ABKCO has the publishing rights for Sweet Virgina, All Down The Line, Loving cup & Shine a light off exile...

I read someplace Johnson used to be an usher so he put "Sweet Virginia" during the credits so they would have something good to listen to while they were cleaning the theater.

I loved the film, albeit Daniel Craig's southern accent was a tad off. But then, I'm used to Dick Van Dyke's cockernee in Mary Poppins, Donald Sutherland's Irish accent in The Eagle Has Landed, and Sean Conner's Irish in Derby O'Gill.

Yes, then there must be early versions of those four tunes which were recorded
while under contract with Klein. I recall hearing Loving Cup and maybe All Down
The Line from that period but not the other two.

Truly a great film! Ages I have not seen a great movie that was jus plain entertainment For the sake of it
Always great when a Stones’ song pops out of nowhere, and Virginia is a fantastic song, so pleasure was double!

My wife and I immensely enjoyed this film. And the unexpected Sweet Virginia at the end put a bigger smile on my face.

I haven't seen the movie yet, and being a long time Stones fan hearing "Sweet Virginia" at the end would have been a nice surprise.

Thanks.

Not enough are made that meet both criteria. Still haven't seen Knives Out, but will get to it eventually.

Somehow similar to Agatha Christie plot movies..... typically English movie.
Nice surprise to have SW as the closing song of the movie

I just streamed this and am glad I didn't waste any money seeing it in a theatre. I'd be very surprised if Daniel Craig doesn't die of shame in the future when he looks back on his role.

So much political correctness, so many plot holes and Daniel Craig's relentless take on Foghorn Leghorn.
