I'm waiting for my copy since april 6, it has a tracking number which say that the package is still on the way, and a guy from Premiere say that Covid slowdown every post office worldwide so guess we have to wait a bit more for it but it will arrive sooner or later.

J'ai oublié de te mentionner que pour savoir ou en est ton colis, tu dois écrire à Premiere ! ils t'enverront un lien qui te permettra de suivre étape par étape le cheminement, pas d'autre choix que d'attendre.

I finally got mine. It took about a month longer than it should have. Even with all the expected delays that are happening now due to COVID-19. The company I bought from was not helpful and I will never buy from them again. Anyway. The book is great. I must say I am glad I bought it.

Still waiting on my copy.

Looks like perhaps they shipped it on the 6th from their distribution center in Franklin, TN.,, where it went to the Miami USPS int'l distribution center where it was processed out on the 17th.

Yeah, I've got a "shipped on April 17th" as well. Been almost 3 weeks now, despite the invoice saying "3-8 business days". Naturally, the pandemic has got to be a factor...but even with that figured in...it seems strangely slow.

My tracking history says that the book is travelling since April 6!

Latest update reads "Your item departed a transfer airport in MALPENSA, MILAN, ITALY on May 3, 2020 at 8:23 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination".

Now I am worried.

It is a 1 hour drive from Malpensa to Milano.

Did the UPS man ran out of petrol?

Car accident?

Did he decide to walk as it was a beautiful day?

Well I was coming back to see how you guys were doing with your order...just as bad as me it seems. So I looked up the tracking number and my package was last seen in Miami on...April 18th ! That's rather worrying...

I would say to hang in there and be patient. I think most of that tracking "information" is BS anyway, stop trying to micro manage the post office and you will be better off and so will your nerves. Your books will come; its been proven so far and will probably be again.

Got mine this week after nearly three months. Will open the parcel later today.

Mine shows it showed up at my local USPS Distribution Center which is just a few towns over from my house 10 days ago. No sign of it still.

Can’t wait to hear the juicy gossip from 3 decades ago or the latest metal detector finds.

Six pages of 'my package hasn't come'. One magical day there will be an actual review of what's inside the book.

Never could understand the joking about his metal detector hobby.
Must be a grand day out to be in the british fields, with a hobby like that, nomatter if it's golf or metal detecting. I'd love to do just that. Ended with a cup of proper british tea.

Finally received it.

Very nice. Loved the fact that many of the pics are in color.

Pics are extermely normal, not staged, the point of view is that of one of the grourp who is not interested in portraying the visuals of a "hero". That is what makes them incredibly real. And special.

It is very rare indeed that a legitimate bookseller and/or author would claim an autograph to be genuine if it were not. I would not question it myself, I am 100% sure it is authentic. Rushed maybe, but authentic, in that the author indeed scribbled on the tip in.

And its too bad your book got battered; mine was packed well and suffered no damage. If yours is indeed battered I would suggest you contact the seller and ask to exchange it.

My note on the signature was for those who asked in first pages of this thread. There seemed to be many interested. Personally, I don't care too much.

As for the conditions of the book, nothing really serious, not worth the hassle to repackage - resend - rewait for another 3 months ...

But, again, all in all I am very very happy with it!

The quality of the prints and, above all, the layout is way better than the mess of the (Italian edition) of Rolling with the Stones.

I gotcha and I agree, I think I have been making the same comment since I first spied this thread. I actually liked the "mess" of Rolling With the Stones, some kool junk in there.

Got my book today. Book and signature look great. Will sit with it tonight...while listening to my bootleg of Atlantic City in anticipation of it's September release...finally! A great Stones day, today.
