yeah stonescave, I would agree with the capt, you should get hold of them and ask what is up. I ordered mine beginning of March and had it here at least a few weeks ago. Maybe they screwed up your order or something, I would get on them about it.

I assume you have contact info? if not maybe I can get you a phone number for them. I forget if they gave out a number with the book for future orders but if they did I will be happy to share.

Wow!!! What a heartfelt warm letter received from Customer Service. I'm willing to bet against the "few more days" at 1:10 odds !!!

I don't know, its a hell of a lot more than many online merchants do. I would take him at his word and keep an eye on the shipment. But I am not offering to put any money on it. All I can say is they seem honest and they came through for a lot of other people so I tend to believe them although I too would be impatient at this point, waiting since February.

Some couriers are efficient even at times like these. I ordered the Deluxe version of "Talk Is Cheap" on Amazon (it was only 45€+shipping, so about 60 % off the original price). Placed the order on Friday, item was shipped on DHL Express from California, cleared customs this morning and will be delivered later today.

From California to Helsinki in four days, hell, that's faster than getting a package shipped within Finland most of the time!

Got the book this morning!!
Two months from States to France!

This is interesting. The tracking shows my book somehow went back to the USA, after having already landed (via surface mail) to Rotterdam on May 25 and was "in transit to destination post"

Now the Aftership tracking site says the package "arrived at regional facility" in Miami on June 14 and was processed through the same facility.

Gotta contact the seller again and ask how they explain this.

Mine was tracked in Finland yesterday, almost three months since it was shipped.

Well, Honestman, at this point i would say i would be pissed off as well. Hope you get your money back, but its still frustrating to not get the book. Sorry to hear about this, i guess i feel lucky mine came through in a more or less timely manner.

If its any consolation, i just got a package via UPS containing two rubber balls for my dog. Package was torn limb from limb, evidently ran over, all dirty (like active dirt and dust) and the card holding the balls torn and frayed. This was after it had been stalled somewhere for a couple of weeks and was way overdue for delivery. Luckily we are talking about a couple of cheap rubber balls here but just imagine the condition your book might be in if and when it actually arrives. Perhaps its best to not know.

I would stick to them like glue to get some money back and an apology beside (and maybe a free book with or without signature).

Ai! That's not good what I'm reading here.
I was still in doubt ordering the book, or not, but maybe I better just order it at Amazon without the autograph, than at least I know I will get it in a week or so.
Very sad to hear people still waiting for their book after all these months.

I've received mine on june 20th,so 4 months after my order !! Good Book with Bill Wyman's autograph and beautiful pictures.
