Yes, thanks Irix, very cool. There are several serious collectors out there. Olaf Boehme is obviously a known name. He put out some good books.
The count has to be done in a public place and every single item has to be databased, official and non duplicate. The count has to be filmed from beginning to end and witnessed by two authorised individuals. Guinness World Records may send someone as may the band, we shall see. Whatever I will be ready.
There are a bunch of cities under discussion but the dates haven't yet been confirmed

As some of you may know, I collect Rolling Stones Memorabilia... This coming Thursday 14th of November (World Record Day) I am attempting to claim the Official Guinness World Record. This involves cataloguing and moving everything to be formally counted in a public venue.
I have been sorting and counting for weeks so everything can be in order for the big day!

ive a got a rolling stone mug.
bought it in a london record store on bakers street in 2008.
cost me £10 but i use it every day for tean and coffee.

Unfortunately it's unofficial so doesn't count! I have found a total of 197 different official picks... I must have a few more different ones but at least point I think I have enough (at least for the record!).
