Looks like this is the 1st of a trilogy?

"The album will be the first in a trilogy to be recorded in the coming years by Ronnie Wood with His Wild Five band, each paying tribute to Ronnie’s musical heroes. Ronnie chose Chuck Berry for the first album as he has been a lifelong fan, has toured with him and also, to honour his sad passing just over two years ago."

Yes, Wood told Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant that Jimmy Reed will be next and Big Bill Broonzy probably the third.

Yes it does and expect a high price.
Bremont recently designed a watch in conjunction with British Airways to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Concorde and you wouldn’t see much change from ten thousand pounds.

THE 1947 COLLECTION

Critically acclaimed artist, producer, song writer, and esteemed Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood unveils a very limited series of unique and individual watches in collaboration with luxury British watch company, Bremont.

Ronnie Wood has individually hand painted 47 limited edition watch dials whilst being on tour with Rolling Stones, a nod to the year he was born, 1947. Each watch in the collection is a one-of-a-kind piece, showcasing original art from Ronnie himself, and housing a rather special Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier movement with moon phase complication. The exquisitely hand-finished mechanism has been housed in a beautifully designed and engineered 42mm, 18 carat white gold case using Bremont’s signature Trip-Tick© three-piece format.

Just a reminder about Ronnie on BBC 2 at 10pm U.K. time with Imelda May as well.

Not sure if he is performing on the broadcasts tonight and tomorrow, but I'm sure I saw a post on IORR to say that Matt was there on the night it was recorded. thumbs up

Two strong performances from RW on Jools tonight but better when Imelda May did backing vocals rather than took the lead. Who was the (non Jools) piano player ?

The first shot of Ronnie was from the floor with a glass of wine next to him!...how ever false alarm as it was Imelda's with ronnie and jools on coke! (the drink) i woory that temptation must be in every studio, theatre etc.

It was also great that Ronnie was the only 6 string guitar player, so it was 100% ronnie.

Anyone thinking Keith could have done this for his album

looking forward to watching this on Jools tonight, it's an absolute pleasure to see Ronnie so active and obviously having fun, cannot wait to see him and the band (and Jack Broadbent supporting) from row A of the circle at Manchester Opera House a week on Weds

As much as I hate to say it, but the whole thing seems so horribly old and outdated. Still, good to see Ronnie being active and playing well.
