The show started with this couple watching TV. The chick is CRYING and shit because they just watched some old movie. Then she says "Oh my God, I forgot this was gonna be on, it's the new Rolling Stones video!" Then they have a conversation about the Stones and how she has to get tickets to see them because "the effects are the greatest!" Then we see the entire SOL video. The Stones play the song in a small club where the entire audience seems to consist of beautiful men and women in their twenties. Afterwards, the guys says "That was great" (sarcastically, I think) and chucks the remote down and the chick is STILL crying! "That was so great" she says. He asks "So why are you crying?" and she just shrugs. End of scene.

I didn't tape it so I can't quote their conversation exactly, but she says something like "not only is the music great, but the effects are the best". I can't even begin to describe how uncool these people were. The kind of people who don't even own a copy of 40 Licks.
If someone mentions a Stones show and talks about the effects I think its a clear sign that the music is lost and not remembered as much as what the stage and lights look like. Sad, but obvious.
You see what happens when Stones fans grow up and get jobs with positions of power...you get SOL on a freaking soap opera...PALEEEEEEZZZZZZEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Fear not. There'll be a few cheerleaders who no doubt think it "rocks" or who will think its a cool thing to do to get "new fans" and make a few dollars in the process....
they're just being quiet about it out of embarrassment, but give it time!
breaking News....Rain fall down is slotted in for the Young and Restless. The Bold and the Beautiful will have Driving Too fast in an accident scene. She Saw Me Coming slated for possible porn flick early next year...
