What was wrong with Anita in 1972?

She went from being a confident, outgoing, healthy and beautiful person to become a heroin addict and then a full blown alcoholic.
Oh, and she had to let her partner's Mother bring up their daughter.(Dandelion/Angela).

In what sense? I’ve read she was into some dark stuff, but don’t know the details. Is that what you’re referring to?
Does anyone know the ins and outs of what she was up to with Black magic?
