Agree with your post and as for the rest of the boots from this tour, with the exception of maybe one, their all very good to excellent audience quality
This tour is IMO the very best of the Stones playing their a$$ of
Ecept in Auckland where they were pitiful!
Logically there should be a few nice surprises concerning the 73 "winter" tour up at Dime = upgrades of well-known (aud) tapes.
Junk all your VGP and OBR boots. They'll soon be obsolete! ><
DCBA, can you give me shout out when that happens? For those 73 shows, all of them beginning with the Nicaragua show, I would definitely be interested.

Oh pretty please. Would LOVE an upgraded "No Expectations" from Nicaraguan Earthquake show '73. Taylor's mighty fine on the slide there.
I absolutely believe this: the "sophisticated ears".
First off just regarding music overall; the more you expand your horizons the more you will crave to take in. And when it comes to bootlegs I do find that one's ears and mindset adapt and eventually change. I know that if I come upon an audience boot from '70 e.g. ice cold, it can sound frightening. A muddled cacophony.
But if I have lubed my hearing up; if I do some SB '2007, then gradually some hot '97 shows; then '73, you get the point...my hearing has changed drastically.
I don't need to have a crystal clear snare drum, or balance guitar attack. But I still get it.
The only gig Keith played on LSD, supposedly. Maybe Charlie had a taste, too
He did seem lost for shure It's hard not to laugh when listening to his struggle

You don't notice that Charlie is playing a wee bit... uh, different... in the beginning?
They didn't play Japan in '73. First time was 1990 I think.

I find it hard to beleave that they didn't film any of the Australian shows, especially since there was an agreement to film the Japan dates (that were canceled).
In Crossfire Hurrungane there is some film from one of the Melbourne shows I think. The scene I'm thinking of is from the end of SFM, with all the ping pong- balls on the stage..
