Yeah influenced guys like --- Otis Redding -- James Brown
Don Covay -- Bunker Hill --- Richard Berry --- Joe Tex -- Young Jesse -xfx

One could add Prince to that list also.

Everyone needs a copy of Richard's greatest hits.

As a child of the late 80s/early 90s, I knew Little Richard mostly from making guest spots on tv shows and commercials, and of course Tutti Frutti.

As others have mentioned, he’s definitely not underrated...he’s just not as public as he was when I was growing up, so it just seems like he’s somewhat forgotten.

While the Stones never covered a Little Richard song, I’d say that Rip This Joint is their way of paying tribute to him.

My earliest concert memory in my life is seeing Little Richard, Chuck Berry, and Bo Diddley in 1989 in Toronto. I was 10 years old. I only remember two things. People booing Berry because he didn't allow himself to be shown on the big screen at the venue, and Little Richard doing a "woo" call and response thing with the crowd that ended with him comically telling the crowd to shut up.
