Came across this while looking at various tunes on utoob. Never heard of him before tonight. He made me wonder if the Stones ever take their songs in different directions when rehearsing for a tour, playing around in the studio, whatever.

Not anymore. Godfrey Townsend is the current Yardbirds lead guitarist. Johnny A was quite good with the Yardbirds. He's got that early Jeff Beck thing down.
