I was already questioning my choices even before I hit "post message". 10 is impossible. The one I regret the most for not including is "Tie You Up".

What instead matters, is to make a choice of ten Rolling Stones songs that may suit each other. You can leave out so many obvious song choices as you like and still do no wrong. This is our wonderful secret. That is the real Rolling Stones heritage, not a narrow list of more or less the same songs on any occasion.

In other words as has been stated: You have the sun, you have the moon, and you have the Rolling Stones.

when i try to do a top list of my stones songs it causes problems and confusion.

if i tried to do a top 5, i would struggle to keep the number down to 20.

if i do a top 10, can easily qualify over 40 songs that could potentially fit.

if i do a top 50, easily pick 150 songs that might qualify, and opinion changes all the time.

i really dont know what my best stoens song is, or top 3, 5 10 or 50.

i just know there is a lot of songs i prefer a lot more than most.

I truly dig Biggest Mistake, It Won't Take Long, Let Me Down Slow, Laugh..., Dangerous Beauty and possibly most of all, She Saw Me Coming.

And Rough Justice, of course.

If only they had whittled it down to just the good songs... no crap like Streets Of Love, Sweet Neo Con, ONNYA, Infamy and some of the kinda ok tracks like Driving Too Fast, Rain Falls Down and Back Of My Hand... it would've been such a much better LP.
