Is there anyone here is SUCH a massive Stones fan that they would rate their least-favorite Stones song above any other song that's ever been written?
(basically, the Stones catalogue sits above the entirety of all recorded music)
I'd find that REALLY hard to believe, but I'm sure super-fans like that exist.

but not every stones song is ahead of every other bands best songs.
it dosent work like that.
i think a lot of the stones underrated stuff and there is a lot, is better than many artists best songs.
stones have officially released around 400 songs, and maybe 200 of them fall into the very good to great section, the rest vary from good to average to poor.
all bands release varying degree of songs, but no one has the amount of great songs the stones have although even bands with moderate output still have some great songs.
but in my opinion, the stones top 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200 will always be better than any other bands equivalent.

It says "more than another Stones song", which is oddly worded because it doesn't have a first song to provide what "another" is.
So... sure, there are songs by other bands/artists that are better than Stones songs.
It's subjective, of course, but there are some awful Stones songs, so that, automatically, means there are better songs by other artists.
