Revised for Gaslight's suggestion of Stones songs recorded in the 1980s only.

1. Continental Drift
2. Feel On Baby
3. Tie You Up (The Pain of Love)
4. Slipping Away
5. Too Rude
6. Harlem Shuffle
7. Undercover of the Night
8. All the Way Down
9. Fancy Man Blues
10. Break the Spell

* apologies to Bard, I love the music to Terrifying, but the lyrics are as graceless as a penguin, as clunky as a motor, as limp as a dead fish. Terrifying love. I've got these strange, strange, strange desires Mick should have spent a bit longer on the lyrics.

just a few days and you'll be back in your school
I'll be sitting around by the swimming pool
You'll be studying history and you'll be down the gym
And I'll be down the pub, probably playing pool and drinking
It's over now, it's a summer romance and it's through

Obviously some people like the song. I could try and explain why I also don't think it is very good but why bother. Besides, handing in our lists wouldn't be fun if they all had the same songs on them. Of course we're all about ten years old here, or we wouldn't be doing this in the first place smiling smiley

If we're to keep GasLight an "Honest Man," we should point out he means "All the Way Down."

I cannot choose ten songs in total, only the larger group of songs, from which I had to draw those final ten songs.

This larger group will consist of: 1) All songs from EMOTIONAL RESCUE. 2) One song only from TATTOO YOU, "Waiting on a Friend". 3) All songs from UNDERCOVER. 4) No songs from DIRTY WORK. 5) One song only from STEEL WHEELS, " Continental Drift". All in all 22 songs.

I may leave the final draw out of these 22 songs to everyone else, I myself cannot do it.

I just don't get the love for Dance. I would 'understand' if it was by, I don't know, Bowie, but The Stones? It's just a pointless, mind-numbing warm-up jam that they added some vocals to and, voila, a 'song'....nup, not for me, one of their most ridiculous attempts at being 'current'...

Dance was old-fashioned funk by 1980.

But it's good funk, it grooves and features fantastic guitar playing. Oh, and the sound is great!

Maybe you just don't like funk?
